Our family welcomes you to Waters Edge Motel, Marina and Campground in Stoddard, Wisconsin. We are just 7 miles south of La Crosse on Hwy. 35 on the mighty Mississippi River. We are known for some of the best fishing and hunting in Southwest Wisconsin.
We are an ideal getaway for families with children, people who enjoy fishing, hunting, or anyone looking to relax in the quiet atmosphere of a small town. Watch a spectacular sunset, while listening to an artesian well tumble into the Mighty Mississippi River.
The Stoddard islands, built by the Army Core of Engineers, have created an area of the river that has resulted in excellent fishing. Spring is a great time for fishing walleye below the dam in Genoa or the spawning crappies may hit inside the marina again. Fishing for perch or pan fishing throughout the year is popular as well as bass fishing for both large and small mouth bass. Northern pike are caught year round, while fishing in the marina. Catfishing is popular throughout spring, summer and fall. Ice fishing has become a big winter time draw, with great pan fishing, bluegil, perch, crappie and northern pike being caught right inside the waters of the marina or just outside. Come fishing at Waters Edge!
We now have live bait and tackle at Waters Edge. We also sell fishing and hunting licences.
There are many things to do in Vernon County:
